Huck actually started this print back in January and due to creative frustrations and a busy schedule the print was set aside several times over the better part of the last year. It has grown to become a much deeper project than originally envisioned. Huck finally put pencil back to paper (and pen back to tablet) last month and hammered through the finishing details. So here we go, we present Sgt. Vasquez on "R&R". Looking decidedly bitter, debatably unrelaxed, and unenthusiastically unentertained by some UTCSO Clonettes. Read into this what you will...

Going on sale this Friday, September 18th, at Noon PDT. Each is printed on fine art watercolor paper (225gs), 18"x12.75" (21"x15.75"), signed, and gold embossed in the top right corner with the print #. Limited edition run of 99 prints, $75 per print.

On August 6, 2009, El Mac's "Faces of Life" show opened at FIFTY24SF to crowds of eager fans waiting to get a glimpse of his paintings. The show featured large to medium size burlap canvases done with spray paint, featuring faces of different girls Mac knows, using mostly black & white or gray tones with just a little bit of color added. The show turned out beautifully - each of the pieces a testament to El Mac's talent, detail and meticulous can control.

To coincide with the show, El Mac in conjunction with Paperworks Lab is releasing a print, "Song of Songs". It’s a 7 color hand pulled serigraph that is in a very limited edition of 50 pieces. Printed on black Stonehenge 310 gsm 100% cotton archival deckled edge paper sized at a massive 30x40 inches. FIFTY24SF Gallery has sold out of its prints but if you act quickly, you may still be able to get some online through Paperworks Lab.

This time Minosu appears to be leaving behind the massive labyrinth-like grounds of the Glorious Soaring Munk's secret mountain retreat, and he looks none too happy about it. The Red Hand Gang has left a trail of destruction across the city's rooftops... and the city guard's air division is out in force hunting for them. But this still doesn't explain the Golden Claw's involvement. Something is afoot and Raku knows it. This Friday at Noon, the next print in the Gold Life series, Moonrise Rooftops. Each is printed on thick 100% cotton duck canvas (409gsm), 12"x24" (plus 1" border on all sides), gold embossed, numbered and signed. Limited edition of 80 prints, $80 each.
