This time around comes the classic Skullhead in four editions -- gold(25 pcs), antique silver(25 pcs), antique copper(25 pcs) and antique brass(25 pcs). They drop tomorrow Tuesday, 9.29.09 @ 11 AM PDT in the Fully Visual store for $130 each. These pieces are large -- for comparison's sake, they are about three times larger than the first modernized Skullhead metal figure from Fully Visual, almost a pound and as big as a baseball.

SDCC 2009 PICKUPS

This was Always Seen and co.'s first year attending SDCC as professionals and we tried to focus more on providing coverage of this massive event, so in turn our pickups list wasn't as extensive as year's past but somehow we were still lucky enough to pick up the items that we really wanted. This year's pickups include: both Luck and Fortune cat Dunnys by Mr. Shane Jessup, a couple of customs from Lou Pimentel, SDCC exclusive Cosmic Pennie by Kathie Olivas, SDCC exclusive Mouse Mask by Ron English, SDCC exclusvie WWRP by IDW, and the Wooden Labbit by Amanda Visell x Frank Kozik. All in all we're very happy with what we were able to obtain and add to the collection. We've uploaded images of everything that was picked up onto flickr and created a slideshow below... enjoy!!!

SDCC 2009: DEPH SIGNING

Artist Deph made a guest appearance at the kidrobot booth #4529 during today's SDCC events. He was there at 11 a.m.(PST) for a scheduled signing and the release of his new SDCC Exclusive 8" Fatcap. It's been awhile since the last toy release by Deph but it hasn't seemed to affect his popularity or fan following one bit as most of the newly designed Fatcap was accounted for within the first 15 minutes of the convention opening. Thanks again Deph and kidrobot!!!

SDCC 2009: MR. SHANE JESSUP SIGNING

To coincide with the new Luck and Fortune Cat Dunny SDCC release, Mr. Shane Jessup was present at the kidrobot booth #4529 today for a signing session which started at 11 a.m.(PST). As expected, the Luck and Fortune Cat Dunnys that were made available sold out instantly. Mr. Shane Jessup was great to his fans as he signed everything that was presented to him, even though I believe there was a one item per customer limit... Thanks again kidrobot and MSJ for another great release and event!!!

I first met the guys at Giant Robot over a decade ago at SDCC and this year Giant Robot turns 15. We are gonna have limited skatedecks and a new version of my wood toy called, WOMBAT. I dont know how many or how much the decks are gonna be, but the toy is limited to an edition of 200 and will be around $40(USD). This might be your only chance to get this stuff, if it sells out. I'll be there to sign some shit, at the Giant Robot booth, but mostly I'll just be wandering around.

After about a year of development I am happy to report that a shipment of factory fresh O-No™ brand sushi figures has hit the warehouse in LA!

These guys are based directly off of my Never Look Back print from a few years back. The first version is a special International Comic-Con release in blue, an edition of 150, for $30 a set.

Not going to San Diego? Fear not, the standard red edition will start hitting toy and culture retailers on-line and off in early August for around $25.

Artists: Amanda Visell lives in the Los Angeles area by choice. Her artwork has been seen in galleries and museums nationwide including an exhibition and exclusive merchandise line at Disneyland USA.
