We got quite a few requests for this little guy after we announced the last B&W set. So we dug up some more blank MAD*Ls and revisited Huck's OG Striped Skullhead MAD*L design, originally seen back in 2005. Sporting the original wings and same iconic red & white striped suit, we present 10 custom hand painted Striped Skullhead MAD*Ls going on sale this Friday, July 3, 2009 at 12:00 p.m.(PST). As usual, each figure is signed and numbered and due to the nature of the materials, some differences should be expected in each figure. 10 figures in this set, $750 per figure.

Limit one figure per customer.

Earlier today Huck Gee released a set of 10" Skullhead custom Mad*L's, and ten lucky followers of his twitter were able to snag one of these amazing customs when he made the surprise announcement. Sad to say that I wasn't one of the lucky ones... but this was such an awesome drop that I wanted to post it anyway. This set, which is now completely sold out, was an edition of 10 and each piece was priced at $400 plus shipping.

"DONATELLO" CUSTOM MAD*L by TYLER

Posted above is an amazing custom 5" Mad*L done by artist TyleR. If you didn't already know, this particular custom is Donatello from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Unfortunately this was a commissioned piece done for a private collector, so I'm sad to say that this one is not available for sale... Lift: "MadL Citizens" show 10.25.08

The Mad*L Citizens show is hosted by Lift in Detroit and is opening on 10.25.08, there will be a handful of custom Mad*L's from some extremely talented artist. This is definitely worth checking out.

I just picked up a "Save Huck" Mad L Artist Proof by Huck Gee. It's numbered 9 of 20 and one of the better pieces I own. I paid alot but I'm extremely happy to be able to add this to the collection. More pics can be seen on the flickr.
