On Wednesday, May 27th, LeBasse Projects will be having a release party for their Koibito exclusive in the white and chrome colorway. This edition is limited to a run of 150 pieces and each one is hand signed and numbered by Yoskay Yamamoto. LeBasse Projects will also have some other surprises for those that attend this event such as: a new print, limited edition exhibition catalogs, postcard sets and some giveaways including some drawings and gocco prints hidden in some postcard sets and koibito boxes... "Online Exclusives
after the successful koibito release party at munky king last month, i received many e-mails from over the sea/ out of the state fans. many of them expressed their excitement about koibito. and others expressed their sadness for missing the party and all the goodies which were available at the event....personally i understand their situation very well. there have been many cases that i wished i could of been back at home in japan. i wasn't be able to attend to some of these events in the past due to financial reasons and other circumstances, including two of my brothers weddings and many of the holidays........

so i made a decision to create online exclusive koibitos for those who couldn't make it to the official release party.

these four colours represent the four elements of the nature: earth, fire, wind, and water...

also there will be a very small run of "under the stars" gocco prints.

we are still working on the timing and the detail about this exclusive online release....

i will let you know as we figure it out."

KOIBITO - Munky King Exclusive Colorway

The secret colorway for the Munky King Exclusive "Koibito" was revealed last weekend at VTN. Since then a few hi-res pics of this colorway have popped up on various forums and websites. If you haven't seen it yet, then here it is. This colorway looks like a translucent smoke-grey of some sort. Either way it's a must have piece for many and the fact that it's limited to a run of only 150 makes it that much more desirable.



The first run of Koibito's including the MK Exclusive are set to drop on 12.11.08. If you want one make sure to line up real early this Thursday at Munky King.
